(buzz & Al - do you have any other information about William Wilson Wolfersberger's - Winchester, VA, whereabouts?) Let me know if you can get a copy of "Campbelltown Pennsylvania""A Historical Review in Words and Photographs" - a book by Donald Rhoads, Jr., Edited by Rachel R. Noll, Aug 2001. see page 8 and 9 and 128. On page 8, this book shows a picture "Philip Wolfersberger constructed this home in 1813/1815. Nearby a large bank barn (now the site of Turkey Hill) once stood. After the Wolfersberger family, it became the home of Aaron Gingrich...Today, Twin Oaks Nursing Care Facility is the owner. It remains one of the oldest surviving structures in Campbelltown" Harvey Lineaweaver Photo/lebanon County Historical Society." Pg 128 includes eight references for the commentary made about the "Wolfersberger" family on page 9, specifically referencing the "Recorder of Deeds, Lebanon County, PA, and Lebanon County PA Register of Wills, among others, for the names Frederick Wolfersberger, Phillip Wolfersberger, John Wolfersberger, Peter Wolfersberger. The copies of the pages came to Larry Jones via: William Wilson Wolfersberger 327 Lanny Cir Winchester, VA 22601-3055 (540) 662-2299 (this number is no longer his because I called it - the man who has it now confirmed the name because when he went to the picture frame shop, and they entered his new (3 mo's) phone number they asked him if his name was William Wilson Wolfersberger....) Notes on this William Wilson say: "William served as Scout Executive of the Boy Scout Council located in Winchester, VA, for about 25 years, until his retirement in 1992.' The Winchester Star newspaper is sending me an article about him, that appeared in the paper. They showed no phone listing for him. Buzz, the copy I have of the book pages is pretty poor - is yours readable on the right edge of the paper? Larry made a note saying he sent you a copy. What do you or Al remember about him? Did we ever do an article about him? Thanks, Myrna
