The property at the corner of Market Square and Market street is devised to George J. Shoemaker during his life, and at his death reverts to his children. This property is valued at $8,000. John Shoemaker gets $8000 in cash. Mr. Rhoads' late housekeeper, Miss Lefever, is also liberally provided for, having been willed a brick house in State street; all the furniture desired by her now in the house of the deceased; the sum of $4,000 in cash; and the dividends of one hundred and sixty shares of Harrisburg Bank stock, during her life time, and the life time of her sister. The oldest daughters of George and John Shoemaker receive one thousand dollars each; all the remaining property to be divided equally between George and John Shoemaker. No other persons receive any portion of the estate of the deceased, which is said to be very large, amounting probably to $100,000.
