The building on Chestnut street, occupied by E. L. Zercher, as a cigar factory, which was damaged by fire Saturday morning, was not insured, as was at first supposed. The Globe hotel was insured for $4,000, instead of $1,000, as stated before. THE NEWS OF MOUNT JOY. Prof. S. M. Youtzy, principal of the public school of this place, has been engaged as a special teacher for the summer term of Millersville State Normal school. F. B. N. Hoffer, of this place, spent Sunday in Shippensburg, Cumberland county. Miss Lillian G. Gable, of Darlington seminary, West Chester, is visiting her mother, Mrs. E. R. Gable, on Donegal street. John A. Heistand, of Philadelphia, is visiting his grandfather, Mr. John M. Hiestand. Mrs. Katharine Snyder on last Wednesday left for Bellefontaine, Ohio.
