The man was killed instantly when he came into contact with the high voltage. A certificate of death by accidental electrocution was issued by Deputy Coroner Dr. J. F. Trexler. The loader had been used on Friday, but had not been used before the fatal accident on Saturday. An investigation has been launched into the cause of the short circuit. The victim had been an employe of the Consumers company for nearly eleven years. He was the father of ten children, one of whom was also employed at the same place. At the time of the accident it was believed that he had been the victim of a heart attack similar to the one he suffered last winter, but the coroner’s verdict dispelled this theory. The victim is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gertrude Adams, and the following children: Irvin, Mrs. Clarence Metntzer, Mrs. Ida Patton, Mrs. Curvin Hengst, and Mrs. Irene Wissler all of Lancaster, and Clarence, Paul, Floyd, Edna, and Ann at home, and a brother Ervin Adams, of Reading. Services will be held at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Clarence Mentzer, 638 East Walnut street, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Internment will be in Brownstown cemetery.
