He was a Civil War Veteran, a member of Company B, Seventh Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteer Cavalry. He is survived by two sons, Maurice, at home, and Lewis, of McGovernville, and one step-daughter, Mrs. Hayes McCauley, of Kirkwood. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the home with further services at 2 p.m. in the Rawlinsville M.E. church. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
