Mrs. Sarah E. Eisenberger, an aged lady of this city, died at five o'clock this morning at her home, No. 429 West Marion street. She had been an invalid for several years past from a complication of diseases, and for more than a year past was confined to bed. Recently she was taken with pneumonia, which hastened her death. The deceased was in the eighty-first year of her age, and was born in Pequea township. She was raised by John Boehm, who lived at Boehm's meeting house. Her husband was Samuel Eisenberger, who died seven years ago. The deceased lived in Lancaster for over fifty years, and was a member of the Methodist church since she was eleven years old. She leaves the following children: Mrs. Mary George, wife of John George, of Philadelphia; Jacob Eisenberger, cigarmaker of this city; Samuel, at home, and Mrs. Lizzie Obreiter, wife of John Obreiter, residing on Columbia avenue. The funeral will take place on Wednesday morning, and will be private. Lancaster Intelligencer, Monday, May 31, 1897
