He was the husband of Mae Gottier Jackson. They marked their 56th anniversary on Jan. 20. Born in West Chester, he was the son of the late William and Laura M. Thompson Jackson. He had lived in Lancaster County for 20 years, and worked as an electrician for Du Pont, Wilmington, Del., retiring in 1977. He was member of West Chester United Methodist Church, the Oriental MasonicLodge 27, Free and Accepted Masons, the Scottish Rite Consistory, Wilmington,and a former member of the Goodwill Fire Co. of West Chester. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mae, wife of Richard W. Hutzler, of Willow Street; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
