She was the wife of Thomas Keppel. Mrs. Keppel worked for many years as an inspector in the chip plant for the former Charles Chips Inc., Lancaster. She was a member of the Faith Tabernacle Church. Lancaster. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo and liked taking part in activities at the Columbia Senior Center. Born in Sandstone, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Effie Miller Kirk. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Dennis, husband of Laura Szampruch Davis, Columbia; and Albert Strubel Jr., at home; two daughters, Yolanda, wife of Steve Eckman, Columbia; and Sheila Osborne, at home; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Georgia, wife of James Lewis, Columbia; and Ruth, wife of Earl Bowles, Sandstone. KEPPEL - Entered into rest in Rapho Twp., PA., on March 22, 2002, HARIETTA KEPPEL, wife of Thomas Keppel of 45 Rolling Hills Estates, Columbia, PA., in her 78th year. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral on Monday from the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Inc., 519 Walnut St., Columbia, PA., at 11a.m. with Pastor Francis C. Flosser officiating. Interment will take place on Tuesday at the Gunter Cemetery, Sandstone, West Virginia at 11 a.m. Contributions in Harietta's memory may be made to Lancaster Regional Medical Center.
