MRS. JOHN NIGHTENGALE DIES IN HOSPITAL

Mrs. Irma Nightengale, wife of Dr. John A. Nightengale, the well-known Orange 
street dentist, died early this morning at St. Joseph’s Hospital after a 
lingering illness.  Before her marriage she was Miss Irma Bross of Philadelphia, 
the daughter of John and Elizabeth Bross.  She is survived by her parents, her 
husband, two brothers, John S. and Steward Bross, and two sisters, Mrs. Charles 
E. Becker and Mrs. Richard Rettig, all of Philadelphia.  She was a member of 
Emmanuel Lutheran church and had a host of friends in this city.  Funeral 
services will be held at her late home 1016 Marietta Avenue, Friday afternoon.  
Interment in Philadelphia.
