Clarence E. Pickel, forth-six, 636 E. Madison St., died at his home at 5:45 p.m. yesterday after an illness of five days. He was born in Paradise Township, a son of Esther Pickel Cummunigs and the late Harry Pickel, and was a resident of Lancaster for the past six years. He was a laborer for the Lancaster Brick Company. Mr. Pickel is survived by his wife, Martha Miller Pickel, and three sons and a daughter: Raymond E., at home; Staff Sgt. Clair N., U.S. Airforce, Alaska; Lloyd W., Lancaster; and Shirley, at home.
