Jacob Stiffel died on Wednesday night at ten o'clock at his home, No. 609 East Marion street, from acute pneumonia, after an illness of one week. He was a member of the First Reformed church, and Lodge No. 1026, A. O. K. of M. C. His wife died six years ago and the following children survive: Thaddeus, of Lititz; Augustus, SArah, wife of Harvey Bowlby; Louella, wife of Sherman Fisher, and Jacob, of this city, and Harry and Ellsworth, at home. The funeral will take place on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with interment in Greenwood cemetery. Lancaster Intelligencer, March 8, 1917
