South Fifth street, Columbia, from a complication of diseases, after a year’s illness. He was in his 47th year and is survived by his widow, Florence, one daughter, Mrs. Marguerite Hill, of Pittsburgh, and two sons, Blanton and Leon, at home. He was a member of Olive Branch Lodge, G. U. O. O. F. and Mt. Zion A. M. E. church. The funeral will be held on Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock from Mt. Zion A. M. E. church, with interment in Mt. Bethel cemetery.
