Meiskey, on West Main street, Lititz, was the scene of a pretty wedding at four o'clock on Thursday afternoon, it being the occasion of the marriage of their daughter, Miss Alice Z., to Myron S. Stark, an employe [sic] of the Lititz Record. The ceremony was performed in the parlor by Rev. Charles L. Moench, pastor of the Moravian church, and Miss Bertha L. Euck played Mendelsohn's wedding march. The bride was dressed in fawn Lansdowne, trimmed with gold embroidery over white silk and pearl trimming, and carried a bouquet of bridal roses. The bridesmaid was Miss Laura Buch, of Lititz. She wore cream Bedford cord, trimmed with lace and ribbon and carried a bouquet of pink carnations. The best man was George Smith, of Philadelphia. The ushers were Clayton Meiskey, brother of bride, and George Frederick. The parlor was handsomely decorated with cut flowers. The wedding was private, only the immediate families of the couple being present. After the wedding a supper was partaken of. The bride was the recipient of many valuable and useful presents. The bride is a daughter of Harry S. Meiskey, cigar manufacturer, and also a member of the Moravian church choir. The groom is president of the Moravian Christian Endeavor society and an usher in the church. They intend going to housekeeping in part of Mrs. Theodora Beckler's house on East Main street, on April 1. Lancaster Intelligencer, Friday, March 26, 1897
