One of the largest channel cat fish ever caught in Stoever's dam, was captured on Friday night by James Dore, of this city. The fish weighed 12 ¾ pounds, and measured 31 inches in length, and 6 inches across the head. Finger Injured. John Oxenreider, employed at the plant of the Edison Electric Illuminating Company, had one of his fingers severely injured while engaged in oiling some machinery at the works during Friday night. Among the Fishermen. Fred Erby and William Franklin Smith, of this city, spent Saturday fishing at Stoever's dam. They returned with a number of the finy tribe. Pension Increased. The pension bureau announces an increase, $8, to George G. Gerhard, of Myerstown.
