G. E., elected the following officers last Thursday evening: N. C., Irwin Horst; V. C., John A. Yeagley; H. P., Harvey Iba; V. H., Calvin Mentzer; N. of R., M. A. Fetter; O. E., A. S. Brendle; K. E., S. G. Lausch; Trustee, Wm. H. Iba. Architect H. T. Hauer, of Lebanon, has been engaged by Camp 256, P. O. S. of A., to prepare plans for the new hall building. Jonathan Snavely sold his farm, situated near Kleinfeltersville, to C. Henry Bennetch at $50 an acre. Miss Mamie Steinmetz gave a party at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Steinmetz, on Saturday evening. Many young people were present and a merry time was enjoyed by all. MT AETNA. Dec. 28, 1905. Marcus Hoffa made improvements to his store room. William Bechtold met with an accident while returning home from Cresskill Mills, while acting Santa Claus, he ran after a buggy, fell and has a badly lacerated and swollen face. Mrs. Clara Brown is ill. Mt. Aetna, Pa., Jan. 3, 1906 Misses Mary Schlasman, and Emma Klopp, were in Lebanon visiting friends. Calvin Berger residing on the farm of Levi Peiffer West of town has moved on the farm of his father, deceased. Morris Fisher wife and daughter Mabel, attended a turkey dinner served by Nathaniel Kalbach and wife at their home at Richland on Saturday. I. J. H. Bordner has a farm near Bethel and a house in town for rent the latter is undergoing repair and general improvements. C. C. Klopp, was in N. Heidelberg on Tuesday. His school for that day being in charge of D. S. Bordner. Wm. Klopp adjusted the five damages on the premises of ex-poor director John Fisher in the interest of the Farmer's Mutual Assistance & Fire Insurance Company. I. J. H. and F. S. Bordner attended a public sale at Millersburg. Henry Clay is remodeling his house on East Market St. Penrose Seltzer and C. W. Bordner horse dealers and shippers of Womelsdorf were here buying horses. D. S. Bordner student at Medico Chirurgical College and Edward Klopp, at Jefferson Medical school left for their respective colleges after spending the holidays at this place. Chas. Spoorman is employing a force of men digging a well on his property. Geo. Bricker cigar maker will move his family to Myerstown in Spring. The wedding of John Glick and Miss Cora Troutman both residing south of town will take place Saturday at the parsonage of Rev. L. D. Stambaugh, Jan. 6. Myerstown Enterprise, January 5, 1906
