F. Ellenberger, was called away by the angel of death. Almost four weeks ago Lilly was taken ill with the grip but had sufficiently recovered to be out and on Sunday a week attended the Centenary M. E. Sunday school. A few day after pneumonia set in and since then she was confined to her bed suffering great pain and being delirious for several days. Congestion of the lungs and brain was the immediate cause of death. She was aged 15 years, 5 months and 19 days, was regular in attendance at Sunday school and a favorite among the neighbors of South Fourth street as she was when the family lived on Chestnut. Up to the time of her death she conversed and during Thursday night she sang "I Live For Thee," "Lead Kingly Light," "Nearer My God to Thee" and "God Be with you 'Till We Meet Again" her favorite hymns. The loss will indeed by great to her parents, who have the sympathy of the neighbors and friends. Lebanon Daily News, March 23, 1895
