CATHARINE LIGHT Mrs. Catharine Light, wife of Associate Judge Andrew Light, died at her home on North Eighth street, Friday evening, at 9 o'clock, aged about 66 years. For a number of years Mrs. Light was a sufferer from dropsy but not until last Monday did she take to her bed. From that day on she suffered greatly, but her death was apparently without pain, she passing away as though she were falling asleep. Her husband and family were at her bedside and her death was not unexpected. Judge and Mrs. Light were married 48 years ago. Her maiden name was Meyer, and she was born in North Annville township. Ezra Meyer, of the firm of Uhler & Meyer, millers, is a brother. The children are Mrs. Samuel S. Horst, Mrs. Emma L., wife of Dr. H. H. Shirk, of Camden, N.J., and Andrew Light, of this city. Mrs. Light was a member of Salem United Brethren church. She led a Christian life, was well-known throughout the city and there are many who will regret her death. As a wife and mother she was of the best and the sympathy and condolence of the community is with the family. The funeral will take place on Tuesday morning at 9:30 o'clock.
