WALBORN After 9 years of illness due to rheumatism and dropsey, Mrs. Edward Walborn passed this life at the home of her mother Mrs. Eliza Kreitzer on East Main street on Sunday morning at 7 o'clock surrounded by the greater number of the Kreitzer family. During these many years of illness, deceased was able to attend to her household duties until 4 weeks ago when the combination of diseases rendered her almost an invalid. Eleven days previous to her demise she took to her bed and life by degrees left her. A short time previous to her death the family was apprised of the unsuccessful stay of death and as the bells on the church towers were pealing forth the early Sabbath Day tones, the life of Mrs. Walborn passed hence. Her three brothers, Morris, Samuel and George were almost constantly at her bedside and in her approach to sleep that knows no awakening she found her maker with her head resting in the arms of her brother George. Deceased would have been 50 years of age next September. Mrs. Walborn was a highly respected lady, loved and admired by a large circle of friends. Previous to her illness she was a devoted member of the Lutheran church and took a deep interest in church services and Sunday school. She is survived by her husband besides her mother Mrs. Eliza Kreitzer who will celebrate her 83d birthday next month and one sister Miss Kate Kreitzer, at home and these brothers William, of Reading, Morris P., of Chicago; George of Lebanon and Samuel E. of this place. The last named and deceased were twins. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon at 1.30 o'clock at the house. Services were conducted in the Lutheran church by the pastor Rev. F. J. F. Schantz. assisted by Rev. J. Lewis Fluck. Interment was made on New cemetery. The popularity of deceased occasioned a very large funeral. The pall bearers were Messrs. Morris Manderbach, William German, Reuben Moyer, Edward Karsnitz, Harry Dundore, and Addison Bower. Mr. William Kreitzer of Illinois, an uncle of deceased, arrived here Wednesday to attend the funeral. Myerstown Enterprise, March 9, 1906
