WEAVER Mrs. Kate M., wife of Harry S. Weaver, proprietor of the Laurel house, North Eighth street, died Wednesday evening, of consumption, after a lingering illness aged 35 years. She is survived by her husband and two daughters, Bertha and Stella, and her mother, Mrs. Emma Yorty. A sister and three brothers also survive her. Lebanon Daily News, April 16, 1896 MRS. HARRY S. WEABER The funeral of Mrs. Harry S. Weaber was held from her late residence, 229 North Eighth street, this afternoon, and was largely attended. Among those from other cities were Mrs. Louis Bocan and Miss Mary Fessler, aunts of the deceased, Pottsville; John W. Fessler, wife and daughter, Reading. The remains were dressed in a black shroud and reposed in a handsome cedar black cloth covered casket, satin lined, with eight swell bar silver handles. A silver plate with the word "Mother" was upon the lid. The floral tributes were handsome. Among them were a beautiful bunch of white carnations; from the Sweet Briar circle of Salem Lutheran church; white carnations, Mrs. Wm. Wetherhold; a handsome pillow made of yellow roses and white peas, from her daughters, Stella and Bertha; a beautiful anchor of white peas and roses, from Lebanon brewing company; wreath made of white lilies and roses, Mr. and Mrs. George Ehrhorn; sickel of lilies and roses, Mr. and Mrs. John Fessler; wreath of roses and carnations, mite society Salem Lutheran church; white carnations, Mrs. Sarah Weaber; pink carnations with ribbon, Mrs. Rose Weaber; pink carnations, Mrs. Wm. Youtz, mixed carnations, Mrs. Seibert, pink carnations, Mrs. Rosenberger. The deceased held in her left hand a bunch of sweet peas from Mrs. Sallie Youtz, and a beautiful bunch of cut roses, from the surviving husband. The pall bearers were John Bollman, Harry Klopp, Mart Reizenstein and Simeon Schram. The services were held at the house at 2 o'clock and were conducted by Rev. Theodore E. Schmauk.
