Nonemaker John Bertrand Nonemaker, 86, for- merly of New Cumberland, died Fri- day., Jan. 7, 2000 at Church of God Nursing Home, Carlisle. Born June 12, 1913 in Wormleys- burg, he was the son of the late John Henry and Annie Staub Nonemaker. Mr. Nonemaker was a retired sheet metal worker with over 30 years of service at G.R. Sponaugle and Sons, Harrisburg. He was a member of First Church of God, New Cumberland, for over 50 years and had been a choir mem- ber for over 30 years and was a life elder. He was a former officer of Mount Olivet Union Campmeeting Association, Dillsburg. Surviving are his wife, Ida A. Whitcomb Nonemaker; one daugh- ter, Marsha L. Eslinger of Wertzville; two sons, John 0. of Concord, Calif., and Keith A. of Harrisburg; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grand- children. Services will be held at I I a.m. Tuesday at his church with the Rev. Dennis E. Hamsher officiating. Bur- ial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Monroe Township. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1303 Bridge St., New Cumberland.
